We’re Losing the Spaces.
Let’s Not Lose the People Who Fill Them
Being a full-time musician today is not just difficult, it is unsustainable. Artists are working multiple jobs just to survive, while the spaces that once held our community together continue to disappear. In the past year alone, we have lost places like the Mercury Cafe, Herman’s Hideaway, and the Soiled Dove. Jonathan Kipp is the kind of musician we cannot afford to lose, a rare artist and accordion repairman whose work brings cultures and people together. This fundraiser will help him build a small repair shop and creative space where music can live and grow again. When we support artists like Jonathan, we are protecting the heartbeat of our community. Even one dollar matters.

WHO ARE WE?
Founded in 2022, Musique Pour La Paix (MPLP) AKA Music for Peace is a 501c3 non-profit organization based in Denver, Colorado. Our goal is to bring awareness to the general public the need for our organization to support and help talented immigrants and artists who identify as BIPOC and LGBTQIA2S+ integrate faster in their society, have a sense of belonging to their community, and support their mental health.
At Musique Pour La Paix, we believe that art and music have a huge impact on mental health. As an organization, we aim to provide our talented groups access to entertainment and art activities through our projects and initiatives with other national and international organizations and sponsors.
